PHP-Fusion 6.01.10

[PHP-Fusion]

A slight flaw has been discovered in the verify_image() function used to ensure that images do not contain malicious code. But, don’t panic, because I am pleased to report that this problem has been addressed.

GuppY

[GuppY]

GuppY was born in December 2002, written by Aldweb. At that time it was called miniPortail but in September 2003 miniPortail 2.4 was renamed GuppY.

GuppY is written in PHP, and doesn’t require a database, since it stores all its content in plain text files. Major features include members management, news and articles publishing, links and downloads management, image gallery, guestbook, forum, FAQ, polls, visits counter, newsletter.

The administration area features a WYSIWYG editor, plugin management, customizable design, and offers the capability to switch languages or to build a bilingual site.

GuppY is free software, released under the CeCILL license.

Typo3 version 4.1.1

[Typo3]

Typo3 versions 4.1.1 and 4.0.6 are ready for download. They are maintenance releases of versions 4.0 and 4.1. Both versions contain only bugfixes.

Among various smaller changes, this update will mainly bring back the Rich Text Editor (rtehtmlarea) which was not running anymore in Mozilla Firefox version 2.0.0.3.

WordPress 2.1.3 and 2.0.10

We have a security update release for both the 2.1 and 2.0 branches of WordPress now available for immediate download.

According to the announcement, these updates are highly recommended for all users of both branches, as they include fixes for several publicly known minor XSS issues and for one major XML-RPC issue. Moreover, a proactive full sweep of the WordPress codebase has been made to protect against future problems.
