OpenCms 7.0.1 available

Version 7.0.1 of OpenCms is available for download. This is a maintenance release which fixes a critical issue in 7.0.0 that made it impossible to apply permissions to resources outside the /system folder. A number of other issues reported by the OpenCms community since the release of 7.0.0 have also been fixed.

GuppY 4.6.1

PHP-Fusion 6.01.11

After a Secunia advisory disclosed an XSS issue in the FUSION_QUERY string, PHP-Fusion 6.01.11 has been released. All users are strongly encouraged to keep their setups as up-to-date as possible.

OpenCms 7.0.0 released

After almost 18 months of development, OpenCms version 7.0.0 is now available for download.

OpenCms 7 contains many enhancements and improvements, detailed in the release announcement.

At the same time, the and websites have been relaunched by Alkacon Software. The new sites are based on OpenCms 7 and take advantage of the latest OpenCms features.

GreyMatter 1.7.3

The refactoring and overhaul of GreyMatter software continues with GreyMatter 1.7.3. Just two examples:

– Localization functionality to enable translation has been added, albeit not fully propagated;

– More than 2000 lines of deprecated code have been removed from gm-library.cgi.

Textpattern 4.0.5 released

Textpattern 4.0.5 fixes one XSS security issue on the public side with comment previews, which means that updates are strongly recommended.

Other changes since Textpattern 4.0.4 include:

* Fixed path disclosure issue (thanks zarathu)
* Distribute jQuery 1.1.2 as a default JavaScript library
* Keep image properties on replacement
* Add ‘delete thumbnail’ function
* Support back end branding: customizable logo and color bar
* Table sort indicators
* Textile improvements
