After a longer than planned development period and a rigorous testing phase, Joomla! 1.0.9 is available for download. This version contains 12 low level security fixes, more than 160 general bug fixes, and several performance enhancements.
“If you are running 1.0.8, you are advised to upgrade to 1.0.9 as it fixes several annoying non-critical errors in 1.0.8.”
