MODx 0.9.6 RC1 has been released.

This version “will contain more than 30 bug report and feature request resolutions, including major improvements to the installer, error reporting, internationalization and ongoing security improvements.”

Some of the enhancements in the final release will include a complete port of all manager code and all demo content to Mootools version 1.0 javascript library, and improvements to the Ajax Search and Search Results Highlighting code.
