Xaraya

Xaraya was born in the summer of 2002 as a fork of PostNuke, but the first public beta was made available in April 2003. After a number of 0.9.x releases, Xaraya 1.0 was released in November 2005.
Xaraya is a web application framework, written in PHP, designed to bring the user a set of tools to build web applications. Out of the box, Xaraya is a Content Management System built on top of the Xaraya framework. While many people use Xaraya as it is, there are many other things they can do with the framework.
On the developer side, Xaraya offers the core framework, with its module APIs, hooks, custom tags, dynamic data, event and authentication plugins. On the web designer side, Xaraya offers the Block Layout templating engine; combined, these two aspects provide the tools to build the look and functionality the user needs.
Xaraya requires PHP 4.1.2 or higher (runs also on PHP 5), and a database (MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite). Xaraya is distributed under the GNU General Public License Version 2.
