Il Filosofo is the web log of Austin Matzko. When medieval philosophers wrote of “The Philosopher” everyone knew they meant Aristotle. The domain name shows Austin’s desired profession (he’s studying for a PhD in philosophy), reveals his interest in Italy, and in acronym form (IF) nods both to logic and to one of his other interests, programming.

Austin has already written a number of plugins for WordPress, I’ll mention just a few:

– Comments Preview, lets your commenters preview their comments before posting;
– Home-Page Control, lets you choose a WordPress Page to act as your home page, putting the blog posts home page in a customized directory;
– Old-Style Upload, restores for WordPress 2.0 the uploading feature found in previous versions.
