Miss Oklahoma Jennifer Berry was crowned Miss America 2006 last week in Las Vegas.
Jennifer, 22, is a student at the University of Oklahoma, where she is majoring in elementary education. She’s active against drunk driving and underage drinking. With the title, Jennifer won a $30,000 scholarship to continue her education.
The Miss America Organization is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. This assistance is not just for the handful of young women who become Miss America, but is available to all young women who compete in the state and local competitions as well. Hi! I am a friend of Jennifer’s and am really impressed that this blog is coming all the way from Italy? She is a very deserving person of the title of Miss America, but the only downside is that we have to share her with the rest of the U.S. for this coming year. Just wanted to say thanks for posting the blog about Jenn!
