thank you for reporting the problem, I’m looking into it.
[edit: the permalink feature is in WP Menubar 2.1, and the static front page problem has been fixed in WP Menubar 2.2. Hope you like this new version!]

My site has a static front page ‘Home’ and blog page ‘Blog’ I tried every combination to get them to highlight properly with no luck. also, what about the permalinks, so that it doesn’t say id=1234 but ‘about’? Thank you

Hello Tom,
yes, WordPress 2.1 gives a lot of error messages during the upgrade, but luckily those misleading messages don’t do any harm (and they have been removed by WordPress in version 2.2).

Thanks for your great plugin, the update worked almost perfectly… The installer has just thrown a lot of error messages at me, because the tables are already present in the DB… I think..
but apart from that.. its a pleasure to work with this plugin
